This exhibition is the first of wholly contemporary American botanical art shown at this venue. The Brooklyn Botanic Garden Florilegium, Prince Charles’ Highgrove Florilegium, and The Chelsea Physic Garden Florilegium are the three most important florilegia in the world today. The Brooklyn Florilegium is a collection of over 200 works of contemporary American botanical art making it one of the largest collections of that kind in the world.
