Mary D. Edwards, Adjunct Professor with Tenure, spoke on Prehistoric Native American Culture of the Southwest on March 14, 2011 at Wesleyan College in Macon, Georgia. The title of her talk was: Pueblos and Pottery: Art and Architecture in Chaco Canyon, Mesa Verde and the Mimbres River Area in Prehistoric Times. In the talk Dr. Edwards discussed Archeoastronomy, contact between Mexico and the southwest, and the subject matter and modes of design found in Mimbres funerary bowls.
