Frima Fox Hofrichter reviewed two books in the area of Dutch art and Gender Studies this fall:

Amsterdam, 2010) for the Early Modern Women: An  Interdisciplinary Journal (October 2012) and Vermeer’s Women:Secrets and Silence (by Marjorie Wieseman, et al., New Haven and London,2012) for the Historians of Netherlandish Art Newsletter, November 2012)
Hofrichter is a co-author of Janson’s Basic History of Art and its 9th edition will be out in October (she also a contributing author  to the 7th and 8th editions).
