Tickets are now available for the Pianos launch party (benefitting Sing for Hope), at special “friend of artist reduced rate of $50”.

88 pianos will be placed around NYC the first two weeks in June, and this is a chance to see all of them ahead of that and hear them being played all at once.

Here’s the Huffington Post article about the program:

The pianos are painted by artists, school children, hospital patients, and notorious/notable individuals. One of the pianos is painted by me! I drew inspiration from Paul Klee, Ettore Sottsass, Milton Glaser, and others. I named the piano Octavia Upright, and the design is meant to be warm, accessible, fun, and child-friendly.

The party will be delightful!!! BRING FRIENDS! Spread the word. REALLY HOPE TO SEE YOU!!!

Or, hope you can come check out the piano once it hits the streets! (Location to be determined)

Warmest wishes,

Elizabeth Meggs
