Professor Edwards Presented a Paper on Native American Art & Architecture, Will Present on Altichiero

Professor Mary D. Edwards, Adjunct with CCE, spoke on April 11 at the Sage Center of Manhattan. The title of her talk was “Art & Architecture of the Ancient Southwest with a focus on Mimbres Pottery and Chaco Canyon Pueblos.”  This was the second in a series of lectures on Native American art and architecture that Professor Edwards has presented as a community outreach. On May 10, Professor Edwards will read a paper at the 49th International Congress on Medieval Studies at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo. The title of the paper is, “Altichiero’s ‘Soft’ Martyrdom of Saint George in the Oratory of Saint George in Padua (1379–84).”
