Graduate and Undergraduate History of Interior Design Students Enjoying Philip Johnson’s Glass House

The students taking HAD’s History of Interior Design courses this spring semester had the opportunity to visit Philip Johnson’s Glass House in New Canaan, Connecticut. Led by Professors Lasc and Zieve, the students departed Brooklyn Campus early on a Saturday morning to spend half of the day on the former architect’s estate. The visit was followed by a lively in-class discussion about the origins of modern American architecture and interior design.
