Professor Marsha Morton was recently asked to write a “state of the field” contribution to the Forum “Visual Studies – The Art Historians’ View” in the Spring 2019 issue of  the German Quarterly.
Her essay, “Nature, Science, and Self in Nineteenth-Century German Visual Culture”, appeared together with nine others covering topics in twentieth-century German Modernism from Expressionism to the post-war era.
