Classroom session with the artist and media archaeologist Zoe Beloff. Working in a variety of media such as film, installation, performance but also stereoscopic projection, electro acoustics and other reincarnations of nineteenth-century mediums!
You are welcome to join our classroom session with the artist and media archaeologist Zoe Beloff. Working in a variety of media such as film, installation, performance but also stereoscopic projection, electroacoustics and other reincarnations of nineteenth-century mediums and media, Beloff reminds us that new media are conditioned by perpetual state of death, decay and obsolescence.
Rarely shown on account of the historical specificities of its technical set-up, this glimpse into Beloff’s work in analog 3D tech is made possible by close collaboration with technicians at Pratt’s Library.
