Congratulations to Professor Horton for Receiving Distinguished Teacher Award for 2021-2022

 

Upon the recommendation of the Academic Senate and approval by the board of trustees, the Distinguished Teacher Award for 2021-2022 is presented to Adjunct Assistant Professor Heather Horton, from the History of Art and Design Department and the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences.

Professor Heather Horton is a specialist in Mdieval and Renaissance Europe, with particular emphasis on the relationship between art, language, and cultural memory. Horton joined the History of Art and Design Department in 2011, teaching courses that emphasize the long history of contemporary ideas. Her efforts to teach Introductory courses that are meaningful in today’s culture and to Pratt students.
