This year Pratt will be well represented at the Society of Architectural Historians 73rd Annual International Conference. Assistant Professors Peter De Staebler and Erica Morawski will each be co-chairing panels.
Professor De Staebler will chair the panel “Monumentality in Pre-Modern Architecture” with Anne Hrychuk Kontokosta (New York University).
Professor Morawski will chair the panel “Catastrophe, Capitalism and Architecture in the Greater Caribbean with Joseph R. Hartman (University of Missouri-Kansas City).
The conference will take place April 30-May 1. Originally scheduled to take place April 29-May 3 in Seattle, Washington, the conference will now be the Society’s first-ever virtual conference. The SAH 2020 Virtual Conference will bring together professionals from around the world who focus on the history of the built environment and its role in shaping contemporary life.
